The Jeeney chat bot software download is still undergoing development. During testing phases I sometimes release downloads to people who have donated their own time or money for further testing. Due to the vast ammounts of junk collected by Jeeney through voice dictation (noise and useless data from the Microsoft voice recognition engines) I have been forced to limit the ammount of people using it somewhat severely in attempt to weed out the good users from the vandals. As it stands, the extra work building this downloadable software takes what little time I do have (I have to work a full time job to pay for all this.) away from my work on Jeeney. The extra time needed to manage the data from the client and prevent Microsoft's SAPI confusion from spilling over to Jeeney is quite considerable.
As my development work isn't really supported by anybody or anything and the time sink of the maintenance is more than demanding, I'm pretty much taking this by ear to see what happens. If people like it and are willing to support it, it may easily become my main focus, otherwise it will likely be dropped so I can work on other things. Personally I think it would be cool to take it to the next level and give Jeeney access to manage every aspect of todays internet and mobile technology across multiple operating systems. I don't plan on tackling something that big on a whim though, too much time is required.
Updated as of March 6 2010: Initiating closed beta test.. (Still pending results as of April 29th, there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest for this project, so it will likely be dropped. I will make some minor mods and open it up for open beta testing to see if it goes anywhere before dropping it entirely.)
Current features of the Jeeney AI chatbot download include:

- Much longer time spans on Jeeney's short term memory (3-6 months) per user
- Stay informed with current update messages
- Bug reporting option
- File Mapping Utility - Allows Jeeney to summerize the contents of a directory on your hard drive and use that data to access your music, videos and documents on command.
- User management system and encrypted data relay for secure internet transmission
- Full Access to Jeeney's regular and general knowledgebase.
Software Details
This software was made primarily at the request of people who have been supportive of Jeeney's development.
The Jeeney chatbot download utilizes a webservice to communicate with Jeeney's central intelligence server. With the rate of development and database expansion, it is not feasible for me to develope chatbot software seperated from the main project.
More features will be added to the Jeeney AI Beta download as time progresses.
Minimum Software requirements
Windows XP/Vista
.NetFramework v1.1 or later (Still pending some compatability tests, there aren't many people beta testing and my time for this is limited...)
300 mhz or faster PC
512MB of memory
The software was written in VB.Net so you must have the dot net framework installed to run the chatterbot download.
A microphone is required for voice dictation and you need a sound card and speakers to hear Jeeney's voice.
