About My Work On Jeeney AI

My name is Cameron Jones; I am 29 years old, living in Alberta Canada. I started Jeeney roughly 6 years ago, just as a hobby. In making Jeeney I have attempted to create an evolving, child-like logic, which bases itself primarily on human conversational input.

I manage all aspects of Jeeney personally. The hardware support, system configurations, code design, implementation, database, extensibility are all elements of my own research and development. I even did all the graphics seen thus far on the website... not that I'm any sort of an artist. Recently I've published a science fiction book to demonstrate a vastly improbable but very exciting potential for intelligent development in the direction I intend to push it.

Why do I do it? …Because in part, artificial logic fascinates me, but more so for a global educational value. I believe that by working with an evolving logic that retains only the relevant data from conversations, we can achieve a means of free, self-education. It would be amazing to see what we could accomplish if everything we talked about fed each other with incite and collaborative information. Measures are taken of course, to ensure this does not extend to personal details supplied during your conversations. Jeeney will only use that information with you and as a reflection upon her own personality.

Self education is what has made Jeeney possible. Nothing I know was ever taught to me by formal means. I find that my own ambition gives me more potential and the challenge of going the distance makes it all worthwhile. The process of creating Jeeney has been giving me perspective and helping me to mature in ways I couldn't have anticipated when I began. I hope others someday will understand the treasure trove of potential I am in the process of unveiling here now.

I think if we want to progress much more as an intelligent species, this is the only way to do it. I don't expect I'm the first with this notion either. The internet itself reflects the founding of my thoughts in this regard.
